The IDEA Youth Forum 2025, an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange, will take place in Prague from July 8th to July 15th. At this IDEA flagship event, young people from across Europe come together to learn, collaborate, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the key societal and political challenges facing their communities and the wider world. Pre-registration is now open, and applications will be managed through our member organisations!
Event Itinerary: This year´s Forum will offer participant-driven content. Workshops will be proposed and delivered by the participants with IDEA assistance and guidance. All delegations registered for the Youth Forum can participate in the Prague Debate Spring (PDS) tournament, organised by the Czech Debate Association. There is also an option for a delegation to participate in additional training events instead of the debate tournament.

- July 9th: Workshop sessions
- July 10th-13th: Prague Debate Spring tournament / Additional workshops
- July 14th: Reflections and workshop sessions based on tournament experience
- July 15th: Departure
Accommodation Details and travel: Consistent with previous years, accommodation will be provided in a student dormitory. All meals will be provided throughout the whole event. The Forum will be organised through Erasmus+ accreditation in the field of youth, which means that travel costs will be covered in accordance with IDEA's travel policy.
Registration: Registration is organised via IDEA members. If you are from an IDEA member country and would like to attend, please get in touch with your national organisation.
Delegation Options: Delegations should consist of high-school debaters and adults who are expected to adjudicate and propose workshops. This year, we also welcome debater-led workshops as part of our emphasis on peer learning. Debaters will prepare these workshops during the Forum. Each delegation should include at least one adult (aged 18+) ready to deliver a session.
