IDEA Youth Forum 2026
The IDEA Youth Forum 2026 will be held in Prague from July 6th to July 13th. This Erasmus+ Youth Exchange, is IDEA flagship event, where young people from across Europe come together to learn and collaborate on a societal and politcal topics. Registration is now open and is happening through our member organisations!
Event Itinerary:
This year’s Forum will offer participant-driven content. Workshops will be proposed and delivered by participants with assistance and guidance from IDEA. All delegations registered for the Youth Forum can participate in the Prague Debate Spring (PDS) tournament, organised by the Czech Debate Association. Alternatively, delegations may choose to participate in additional training sessions instead of the tournament.

- July 9th-12th: Prague Debate Spring tournament / Additional workshops; Reflections on newly gained knowledge
- July 13th: Departure
Accommodation:
As in the previous year, accommodation will be provided in multi-bed rooms with own bathrooms in university dormitory building: Hotel Krystal, José Martího 407/2, Prague 6.
Venue:
The programme takes place in the Grammar School, Nad Alejí 1952, Prague 6, which is close to the accommodation and easily accessible via public transport or on foot.
Meals:
All meals will be provided throughout the whole event. Breakfast will be served at the accommodation, lunch and dinner will be served at the school.
Travel:
The Forum is organised through Erasmus+ accreditation in the field of youth, meaning that travel costs will be covered in accordance with IDEA's travel policy.
Registration:
Registration is organised via IDEA members. If you are from an IDEA member country and would like to attend, please get in touch with your national organisation.
Delegation Options:
Delegations should consist of high-school debaters and adults who will act as adjudicators and workshop leads. Following the experience from previous years, we welcome debater-led workshops to promote peer learning. Debaters will prepare these sessions during the Forum. Each delegation must include at least one adult (aged 18+) ready to deliver a session.
