KVAK in Kranjska Gora: Sharing Tools, Improving Materials, and Strengthening Connections

KVAK in Kranjska Gora: Sharing Tools, Improving Materials, and Strengthening Connections

The end of May was dedicated to improving the quality of feedback in youth work and advancing the outcomes of the KVAK project. The focus was on developing feedback practices and creating inclusive, supportive learning spaces through hands-on collaboration and content creation.

As part of the ongoing KVAK project (Quality, Inclusive, Engaged, and Constructive Feedback in Youth Work), we once again came together for a project meeting, this time in Kranjska Gora in Slovenia, for a collaborative working session focused on developing resources to strengthen the quality and safety of youth work across Europe.

The meeting centred around sharing experiences, designing and collecting digital badges, preparing real-life feedback situations, and recording video exercises, all of which contribute to the project’s final toolkit of online learning materials. These activities support the core aims of KVAK: to equip youth workers with practical, accessible tools for delivering constructive feedback, promoting inclusion, and ensuring safe, participant-centred learning environments.

Beyond the formal agenda, the meeting also created space for community-building and exchange. Strengthening friendships and professional ties across borders remains a key part of the KVAK experience, as participants reflect on their own practice while learning from others.

With each meeting, the project moves closer to its goal of publishing a comprehensive set of training materials, including a manual, video content, exercises, and digital credentials. All will be freely available through a dedicated platform.

A big thank-you goes to our member organisation ZA IN PROTI for hosting us in beautiful Kranjska Gora, and to all partners for their energy, ideas, and commitment to improving youth work across Europe.
