EYE 2025 So Far: Debates, Workshops and Connections

The EYE event is already halfway through, and it has been an exciting experience! We are bringing you a few moments so you can feel the event with us.

The first two days were all about preparation, meeting other activity organisers, connecting with volunteers, and getting familiar with the venue. Most of the work happened behind the scenes, but every challenging moment was worth it.

During the first official day, we kicked off with a workshop “THE LOGIC LAB: CRAFTING STRONG ARGUMENTS”, where we taught participants how to craft a strong argument. Young people from all over Europe joined us to become better at argumentation and to improve their confidence in speaking on specific topics.

And what is happening today? It is all about showcase debates. We have young speakers from Italy and Latvia debating the future of nuclear energy in the European Union. Participants are also joining the debate with their questions, and it is an amazing experience to see the crowd so interested in debating and engaging with our debaters. So, do not forget: DEBATE TODAY, EUROPE TOMORROW!

And later? We are wrapping things up with the closing ceremony and lots of amazing memories.
